Bearing Separators

A Bearing Separator, also known as a bearing splitter, is a tool designed to remove a bearing from a hub, gear, or another part that it sits behind or underneath. These bearings are often mounted on a shaft. The tool works by inserting a tapered lip, or wedge, between the bearing and the part it’s attached to. If the bearing remains stuck after being separated, a counter-support, or push puller, can be used with the separator to fully pull it off. This specialized tool is widely used in the automotive industry but is also essential for technicians maintaining large equipment and heavy machinery.
