Long Length Drill Bits

Long length drill bits have flutes that are significantly longer than the shank, and are sometimes known as aircraft length drill bits. They were originally used for manufacturing planes made from riveted aluminum. Their purpose is to drill in to difficult to reach areas or to create deeper holes.
