If you're involved with maintaining, installing or repairing belt drives, you're likely going to need a Belt Tension Meter. These instruments can determine whether a belt is operating under the recommended pretension or not. They can be used to inspect rubbed belts, Timing Belts and V-Belts. Not only will a belt with the recommended tension work better, it will most likely require less repairs.
