Clamp Meters

If you peek inside of an electricians vehicle there's a good chance you'll find a clamp meter. It's a piece of equipment used to test parameters relating to electricity. They're called clamp meters because they use a "clamp" to go around a wire and gather data. Clamp Meters can measure current and voltage without damaging the wire or having direct contact with the core. They're used for a wide range of purposes from home to industrial electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. As such different models vary in accuracy, features, and price.
