External Bearing Pullers
External bearing pullers are tools that are used to remove bearings by grabbing the outside of the bearing and applying pressure in the opposite direction. They're mostly used when a bearing is on a shaft with no housing. The Jaws (or hooks) are placed under the bearing, and a spindle is tightened so it makes contact with the shaft. Tightening the spindle creates opposing force pulling the bearing up. External bearing pullers vary greatly, as do bearings, and applications. You'll find external pullers with 2 or 3 jaws, some with narrow jaws, some with fixed jaws, and others with adjustable jaws. They can pull tiny bearings in small applications or large ones in industrial machines.
