Internal extractors
Internal bearing extractors are also known as pilot hole pullers or blind hole pullers. They're mostly used in situations when a bearing is installed in a housing making the use of an external puller not possible. The internal extractor is inserted into the middle of a bearing and expanded so the ridges grab onto the inner race. Then a counterstay or slide hammer is attached to provide opposing pressure in order to remove the bearing. Sizes vary in order to meet the demands of different applications. External bearing extractor kits are best when different sizes may be needed.
