The Kukko 56-3 hydraulic nut splitter is designed for precise and controlled nut removal, minimizing effort with its grease-operated hydraulic mechanism. Manufactured in Germany, it handles nuts ranging from 27 to 46 mm (1 1/16 to 1 7/8 inch) and is built for long-term reliability in various applications.

This nut splitter tool features a hardened chisel cutting edge, ensuring sharp and effective splitting. The facet-cut design allows for clean separation while working on nuts of grades 5, 6, 8, and 10. With hydraulic assistance, minimal force is required, reducing strain on the user and enhancing efficiency. The chisel, available as a replacement part, simplifies maintenance, and the streamlined numbering system makes reordering convenient. A strong and durable construction supports a maximum torque of 50 Nm (6.5 ft lb) and a maximum load of 23 US tons. The nut cutter incorporates self-healing corrosion protection with KUKKoating for galvanized parts, providing resistance to wear and extending service life.

It is not compatible with electric or pneumatic screwdrivers or hammer drills. The chisel is a wear component and must be replaced when dull or damaged. Proper protective gear, including goggles and a protective blanket, is required for safe operation. For safety, the Kukko 56-3 hydraulic nut splitter should be used within torque limits to avoid damage.
