Spectrophotometers

Spectrophotometers are essential when a task requires a high-precision, high-accuracy, quantitative analysis of color. They do this by transmitting light and measuring that amount that is absorbed or reflected. The light has a particular wavelength which allows the color to be quantified. The ability of a Spectrophotometer often extends beyond the visible light spectrum into infrared and ultraviolet regions. These machines are used across several industries and can often be found in laboratories or manufacturing facilities conducting quality control.
