Steam Oxide Finish Drill Bits

Drill bits with a steam oxide finish have a thin coating which prevents corrosion and can help hold lubricants.  Their primary usage is for cutting holes in ferrous metals, however, in some rare situations, they can also be used for hole cutting on non-ferrous metals.
