Kukko FAQ's:
Q: What does the + mean in the Kukko product series or part number?
A: The + is usually seen on external bearing pullers. It means they come with red Quick Adjust Knobs. They allow the jaws to be tightened / released without tools. See an example product here.
Q: What does the "S" mean in the Kukko product series or part number?
A: The "S" is typically seen on external bearing pullers. It means they come with narrow jaws for getting into tighter spaces.
Q: What does the +S mean in the Kukko product series or part number?
A: The +S is typically seen on external bearing pullers. It means they come with both the red quick adjust knobs (as signified by the +) AND narrow jaws (as signified by the S). See an example product here.
Q: What justifies the cost on Kukko tools?
A: The extremely high production quality. Kukko tools are made in Germany, their process for refining metal is very efficient. It creates tools with a much longer service life compared to most other brands.
Q: Some counterstays have a part on the bottom of the spindle, what is is?
A: That's an adapter so it will fit different sizes of internal pullers. For example, at first glance the Kukko 22-2 counterstay does not look like it works with the 21-6 external extractor. However, if you remove the adapter at the bottom of the counterstays spindle it'll fit right in.
