The strong, conventional 118 degree point on Precision Twist Drill Precision Twist Drill 209 drill bits makes them easy to regrind. They're manufactured from premium High Speed Steel, and can be used to drill into a number of different materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and steels. They are available in many fractional sizes from 1/8” to 2 inches, and can be used in machine applications where the drill is held directly in the spindle, making them a very versatile choice. 209 taper shank drill bits also have a steam oxide finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the drill, so you get a clean and accurate result.
