It supports continuous wave signal identification across an 800 to 1700 nm wavelength range and detects 270 Hz, 1 kHz, and 2 kHz tones with an audible warning. Its LCD provides relative core power, signal direction, and battery life information, while the color display helps technicians interpret direction results clearly in the field.
The fiber identifier uses a Ø1 mm InGaAs detector for optical signal detection and is compatible with bare fiber applications. An integrated power meter measures optical power across six selectable wavelengths: 850 nm, 1300 nm, 1310 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm. The built-in VFL helps locate faults in fiber cables quickly, supporting efficient inspection and troubleshooting.
