The MADI SS-3 slotted socket is an impact-rated tool designed to provide linemen with versatility and efficiency in the field. Featuring three square openings in one slotted socket, it accommodates 3/4” (oversize) for 1/2” hardware and 1” for 5/8” hardware, making it adaptable for a wide range of tasks.
The Madi Slot Socket is easy to use with rubber gloves, thanks to its secure lock quick-change adapter that prevents unwanted socket disconnect (sold separately). Engineered for multi-use applications, it is perfect for wing nuts and eye bolt-type clamps, including grounding clamps, hot line clamps, T-clamps, underground feed-through bushings, layout arm hardware, stringing blocks, and temporary arm insulators.
Additionally, the SS-3 slot socket handles 5/8” and 3/4” eye nuts, large hardheads or lags, large J-hooks, and non-standard eye nuts on composite arms. It’s also an excellent tool for removing and installing pole steps, offering linemen a dependable and versatile solution for their most critical tasks.
