The PCE Belt Tension Meter has a new look and a new name!

The PCE Belt Tension Meter has a new look and a new name!

Measuring equipment & testing instruments need to evolve with the demands on the industry. PCE Instruments is, and always has been, great at improving their products. They strive to optimize them as much as possible. The new PCE-BTM 2000A Belt Tension Force Meter is a prime example of that! It's mostly the same as it's predecessor, the PCE-BTM 2000, but there's one major difference.

That difference is the updated plastic housing. This gives the device a cleaner & more modern look!It maked the device easy to hold, and reduces small areas that dirt and dust can collect in.

The PCE-BTM 2000A Belt Tension Force Meter is a maintenance tool designed for optically measuring and determining the belt tension force. It consists of a display device and a sensor head attached to a semi-flexible gooseneck, allowing flexible positioning of the sensor head. This mobility enables measurements even in hard-to-reach places. The device measures the belt tension in Newton (N) and the belt frequency in Hertz (Hz) in a stationary state.

The measurement process involves inducing a small impulse on the belt to set it vibrating. The sensor then measures the natural frequency of the vibrating belt and displays it on the high-contrast graphic display. The device can calculate the actual tension of the belt (in Newton or Pound Force) by combining the belt frequency with optionally entered belt length and belt mass data.

The intuitive graphic menu is available in six different languages, and the device can store up to 750 data records in its memory. The PCE-BTM 2000A comes complete with the handheld device, a standard sensor with a gooseneck, a magnetic holder, batteries, and an operating manual. Additionally, there are optional accessories available for added flexibility during measurements, including an external sensor head with a spiral cable, a device hard case, a frequency mallet, and a tripod.

The PCE-BTM 2000A Belt Tension Force Meter is an updated version of its predecessor offering the same comprehensive set of features and functionalities!
